This one happens to be the medical definition from the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

Sex is synonymous for gender. Gender correlates with sex identification.

Regardless of your views on GI, it is what it is.

lmao using an outdated dictionary definition to defend your bigotry

You can hold onto your outdated opinions while the world changes around you, but eventually the world will have changed and you will be the outsider who no one wants to converse with because you insist on using bigoted terminology due to your own fear of a single group of people.  

The world IS changing and becoming more accepting of trans* and non-binary identities.  People like this are going to be left in the dust… where they deserve to be, really.  

i love when people resort to the dictionary to defend their bigotry because it shows that they don’t understand some very basic things, like that language is constantly evolving and changing, words have multiple meanings and vernacular and theoretical/academic usage often differs from that of the dictionary, even the people who WRITE dictionaries don’t see their definitions as the end-all be-all, and heck who do you think is on the committees that write them? if they’re anything like pretty much any other industry out there, well…
